Ammonia units (R-717, NH3) require smaller heat transfer areas due to superior heat transfer capacity compared to Freon units. Ammonia units use SS tube and aluminum fin heat exchangers, while Freon units use copper tubes. Ammonia units are typically preferred for larger industrial applications due to their higher efficiency.

Our blast freezer units operate from -5°C to -45°C with cooling capacities from 23 KW to 100 KW for freezers and 25 KW to 120 KW for chillers. They feature corrugated fin designs for efficient heat transfer and come with fan diameter options from 630mm to 800mm.

The corrugated fin pattern with rippled edges creates controlled air turbulence, reducing pressure drop while enhancing heat transfer efficiency. This design, combined with pyramid-shaped fins and square fin pitch geometry, optimizes airflow distribution across the heat exchanger surface, improving overall unit performance.

Fin spacing options ranging from 4mm to 12mm allow customization based on application requirements. Closer spacing (4mm) provides more surface area for heat transfer but requires more frequent defrosting, while wider spacing (6-12mm) is better suited for applications where frost buildup is a concern.

Orbital welding in our ammonia units creates consistently high-quality, precise welds for SS tubes, ensuring complete leak-proofing. This automated process minimizes human error and produces uniform, robust connections that withstand high-pressure operations and temperature variations.

These units feature 3D-modeled compact design with copper tubes and collared fan outlets for wide air throw. The combination of optimized air distribution and efficient heat exchange surfaces delivers cooling capacities from 10 kW to 50 kW with minimal air draft.

Our units offer multiple defrost options including electric and hot gas defrosting. Electric defrost uses heating elements, while hot gas defrost redirects hot refrigerant gas through the coil. Both systems effectively remove frost buildup, maintaining optimal heat transfer efficiency.

We offer three casing options: AlMg powder coated, GI powder coated, and SS 304. Selection depends on environmental conditions and application. SS 304 provides maximum corrosion resistance for harsh environments, while powder-coated options offer cost-effective protection for standard applications.

Monoblock units integrate cooling components in a single housing, operating between 5°C to -25°C. They use copper for efficient heat transfer and undergo comprehensive temperature testing. The unified design ensures precise temperature control and simplified installation.

Material selection depends on refrigerant type and application. SS tubes are used in ammonia systems for chemical compatibility and durability, while copper tubes are preferred in Freon systems for optimal heat transfer and cost-effectiveness in smaller-capacity applications.
